Making A Mark on Education
Over the past 44 years, Granada Preparatory School has offered its students an education based not only on reading, writing, math, social studies, science, and the arts, but also on the core values of leadership, personal responsibility, and good citizenship. With the adoption of the International Baccalaureate program, the IB learner profile attributes have been incorporated into all aspects of our students’ education. That, coupled with the trust developed through our strong family-like atmosphere, allows our faculty to help develop in every student the self-confidence necessary to succeed.
This complete IB educational experience is not sustained by tuition alone. Monetary gifts are essential to maintaining and enhancing the GPS IB experience. As is the case with every independent school, the Annual Fund drive is our philanthropic priority. This is the number one way you can support GPS and Make a Mark on your child’s education. Your tax-deductible gifts are solicited to cover the difference between tuition revenue and the school’s actual operating costs.
The goals of this year’s Annual Fund are:
• Replacing the aging classroom iPads with new models
• Providing for on-campus specialty assemblies and guest speakers
• Educating our faculty through attendance at IB workshops (professional development)
This year’s aim is 100% participation from families, faculty, trustees, and staff. Make a Mark on your child’s education at GPS this year by donating to the Annual Fund! To commemorate your donation of $100 or more by January 31, 2023, your child will create artwork for a tile to be displayed in a framed mosaic on a wall of the school. A donation of $500 or more will allow your child to create four tiles. Each day as your child arrives, they will see their tile and know that their family has Made a Mark on their education by donating to the Annual Fund.
Donating is easy:
Use the "Give Now" button at the top of the page to donate by credit card.
Download the form to make a pledge, pay by check or use your Blackbaud Tuition Account.
Check to see if your employer offers a matching gift program which can be used to double or sometimes triple your gift.
Your generous participation in whatever measure you are capable of will benefit your student and the high quality IB education that GPS offers. Please join me in Making a Mark on Education this year.
