Tom Boulanger
In 1999 Coach B began working for the YMCA in Porter Ranch as a Youth Program Director, developing youth fitness programs for children ages 3-15, as well as developing PE programs for several local LAUSD elementary schools. In 2002 Tom was asked to help revive the youth sports and camp programs for the East Valley YMCA in North Hollywood. Oakwood School asked him to join their staff in 2003 as a PE Coach, Varsity Girls Basketball, and Varsity Boys Baseball Assistant Coach. After leaving Oakwood School, he became an Assistant Varsity/ Head Junior Varsity Basketball coach for Canyon Country High School from 2006-2009. Coach B came to Chatsworth Hills Academy in August of 2007 and is now the Athletics Director at Granada Preparatory School. His daughter Faith graduated from CHA in 2017.
While at the YMCA, Coach B formed a philosophy that has inspired his teaching; that fitness and athletics should be for every student not just for the gifted athlete but also for the student with limited physical abilities. All students should develop a life-long love for fitness and healthy lifestyle. When not teaching Coach B enjoys playing competitive sports, cooking and most importantly spending time with my family.

He earned a BS Psychology from Cal State University Northridge
