Overview

The GPS Early Childhood program is for students from 2 to 4 years of age.  Students must be potty trained to enroll in our Preschool program. Admission is on a rolling basis and we will continue to enroll children throughout the school year as long as space is available.

Preschool begins at age 2 years old (by September 1 of the academic year). GPS has flexible programs which include 2 day, 3 day and 5 day attendance with both half-day and full-day options.

Jr. Kindergarten is a full-day, five-day-a-week International Baccalaureate program in preparation for Kindergarten. Students applying for Jr. Kindergarten need to be four years old before September 1 of the year in which they are enrolling.

Schedule a Tour

We invite you to learn more about our program during a campus tour. The tour will give you the opportunity to see the classroom, meet the teachers and some of our students and learn more about our program. One-on-one tours are scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. You can schedule a tour by contacting the admissions office.

Submit an Admissions Application

To apply for any one of our Early Childhood programs, complete the Early Childhood Admissions Application form and submit it along with the $100 application fee.

Student Visit

Students applying for our Junior Kindergarten program are invited to meet the teacher prior to enrolling. The visit/tour will be scheduled once the application is received.

Teacher’s Report (Jr. Kindergarten only)

Families applying to Jr. Kindergarten should submit the confidential Teacher’s Report form to the applicant’s current preschool teacher or director. Completed forms should be mailed or faxed directly to GPS from the child’s current school.

Notification

Families applying to the Early Years Program will receive enrollment notification upon completion of the admissions process.

Please note the California state requirement for immunizations. We will need documentation from your child’s doctor before school starts that all required immunizations have been obtained.
